Blue Osa has incredible staff, always ready and available to make your stay even more magical. Local farmed and cooked, meals. Coctail bar with a featured cocktail each day. A lap pool. The yoga room is equisite and overlooking the whole property.

I knew going to Blue Osa Dec 2014 would be magical, yet, they seemed to have exceeded my expectations a hundred fold.

Things to expect: Full spa menu each day. Two yoga classes daily. One meditation class and discussions daily. As much free time as you like. A long list of fun activities you can choose from as a group or individual. What to expect during this time: Adventure, rest, spa, beach time, personal attention, also healing/transformation, as it's my gift to you on these retreats.

TRAVEL INFO

The best way to travel to Blue Osa is to take a direct flight from Los Angeles to San Jose, Costa Rica, with Delta air. Then take a local flight with Nature Air from San Jose to the local town, Puerto Jiminez. There you'll be picked up by a shuttle and dropped 30 minutes later at Blue Osa Retreats. The local flight is about an hour. The international flight is about 6 hours. I will share my flight info with you closer to the retreat date. The total cost is around $1000. Below is what Blue Osa has to say about traveling to the Osa Peninsula.

For your international flight, please fly to (airport code SJO) San Jose at Juan Santamaria International Airport in Costa Rica. From San Jose, you will then need to make a connection to a local airline that will bring you down to the town of Puerto Jimenez on the Osa Peninsula.

To travel from San Jose to Puerto Jimenez, people prefer to use one of Costa Rica's two airlines. Nature Air or Sansa. Once you have booked your flights, please advise us of your arrival and departure times so that we can arrange our Blue Osa shuttle service to pick you up at the airport and bring you to Blue Osa. The airport shuttle fee service is $20.00 / person each way.

Please kindly remember that our check-in time is 2:00pm. If you come earlier and require lunch, we charge a fee of $20.

Blue Osa's preferred air carrier in Costa Rica is Nature Air. www.NatureAir.com
Nature Air takes great pride in serving not only their customers, but the environment as well, as

they are the ONLY airline in the entire world that has reduced their carbon footprint to zero, which, as an eco-friendly hotel, we want to support.

Nature Air is located in the main international terminal.
The other air travel alternative is Sansa Airlines. www.FlySansa.com and is located adjacent to

the main SJO International Airport where you will be arriving.

There is a baggage limit (including carry-on) enforced on both airlines. Depending on the weight of your luggage, the airline you choose to fly with and how much you paid for your ticket, the allowed weight is between 15lbs to 40lbs. To pay an excess baggage fee is minimal. Please check with the airline if you need more information.

If you have the time, and a bit of a sense of adventure, driving down to the Osa is also an option. Driving around Costa Rica is fabulous and is really a great way to see the country but the hardest part is the getting out of San Jose. The drive time to Blue Osa is about 7-9 hours and we encourage our guests to see different parts of Costa Rica.
